Das Ende des Verlagswesens…

… wie wir es bisher kannten.

Amazon stellt sein digitales Lesegerät „Kindle“ der Öffentlichkeit vor.

Das Gerät basiert auf neuester ePaper-Technologie. Lesen ist somit genauso kontrastreich wie auf normalem Papier – nicht vergleichbar mit einem Monitor. Kindle ist zudem mit einer eigenen Sim-Karte ausgestattet und ermöglicht den ständigen Kontakt mit dem Online Shop von Amazon, kostenlose Wikipedia abfrage oder das lesen von einigen Online Blogs.

Das Gerät Kindle wiegt weniger als eine normale Tageszeitung und bietet eine sehr intuitive Navigation.
In Deutschland müssen wir wohl noch einige Zeit auf das Gerät warten – somit haben die Verlgshäuser in Europe noch Zeit den nächsten Innovations-Schritt vorzubereiten.

Unser Team von CScout hat zu diesem Thema gerade ein großes Trend-Research Projekt für einen asiatischen Kunden abgeschlossen. Mein Fazit: „Die ePaper Technologie wird das Verlagswesen revolutionieren.“
